A perfect way to show your support for democracy, critical thinking, and the freedom to read.
Description: This bold design delivers a hard truth: the atrocities of the past didn’t arrive all at once—they crept in slowly, behind laws, slogans, and silence. Referencing the early warning signs of 1930s Germany and the erosion of democratic norms happening today, this piece is a reminder that history doesn’t start with horror—it starts with comfort, compliance, and looking the other way. Wear it as a warning. Wear it as a challenge. Wear it so no one can say they didn’t see it coming.
Description: You don’t need a time machine to know how you would’ve responded in a moment of moral crisis. If you’ve ever wondered what you would have done in 1930s Germany—here’s your answer. This bold typographic design is for people who believe history doesn’t just repeat—it tests us. Over and over. Perfect for activists, educators, watchdogs, and anyone who refuses to stay silent.
Description: This vintage-style typewriter design delivers a timely message: “Free Press = Strong Democracy.” It’s more than a slogan—it’s a direct response to rising authoritarianism and ongoing assaults on journalism. President Trump has repeatedly targeted the press, echoing authoritarian strongmen by labeling journalists as “the enemy of the people,” dismissing real reporting as “fake news,” and working to erode public trust in the Fourth Estate. This design pushes back—celebrating journalism, free speech, and the essential role of a free press in any functioning democracy. Perfect for journalists, writers, educators, and anyone who believes truth still matters and are fed up with Trump’s attacks on the free press.
Description: Authoritarianism has no place in a free society. This clear, principled design delivers a powerful message: “Opposition to Authoritarianism Is Essential to a Free Society.” It's a reminder that defending democracy requires more than just voting—it takes courage, awareness, and a willingness to speak out. Ideal for activists, educators, allies, and anyone who believes patriotism means standing up to tyranny, not bowing down to it. Wear it to rallies, classrooms, or coffee shops—it says what matters without saying a word. Description: When Trump’s latest round of tariffs hit literally uninhabited penguin islands, this unbothered bird lost it. Description: “Lex Injusta Non Est Lex” — An unjust law is no law at all. This classic Latin phrase—traced to Saint Augustine and later echoed by Martin Luther King Jr. in his Letter from Birmingham Jail—is a timeless reminder that legality does not equal morality. Just because something is written into law doesn’t mean it’s just. This design features distressed Roman-style typography above a subtly off-balance scale of justice—because justice, like democracy, doesn’t balance itself. Minimalist and clean, but unapologetically bold. Wear it to protests, the courtroom, your classroom, or anywhere power needs reminding: blind obedience isn’t a virtue. Available as a shirt or sticker. Made in collaboration with our friends at chaossection.com.
